Departure or onward journey
Meet your private driver or chauffeur-guide at the airport and transfer to your first hotel. Enjoy time to rest and prepare for the journey ahead.
Explore Sri Lanka’s ancient capital, including its monumental stupas, historic monasteries and sacred sites. The day can be paced around your interests and the weather.
Travel into the Cultural Triangle, adding suitable cultural or local stops along the way. Settle near Sigiriya and enjoy a relaxed afternoon.
Visit Sigiriya Rock Fortress during the cooler morning hours before exploring Dambulla’s remarkable cave temples. A village experience or local lunch may also be included.
Travel towards Kandy with thoughtfully selected stops along the route. Arrive in the hill capital and enjoy time beside the lake or within the city.
Discover Kandy’s cultural heritage, local streets, gardens and the Temple of the Sacred Tooth Relic. An evening cultural performance can also be arranged.
Journey through winding mountain roads, waterfalls and tea-growing landscapes. Visit a tea estate or factory before arriving in Nuwara Eliya.
Travel deeper into the hill country by private vehicle or scenic train when suitable tickets are available. Arrive in Ella and enjoy a relaxed evening.
Explore Ella at your preferred pace. Visit Nine Arch Bridge, walk to Little Adam’s Peak or enjoy a slower day of viewpoints and local food.
Leave the misty hills and travel towards the dry-zone landscapes surrounding Yala. Enjoy suitable stops before settling near the national park.
Join a private jeep safari during a suitable morning or afternoon session. Wildlife sightings depend on natural conditions and cannot be guaranteed. Continue towards Galle afterwards.
Discover Galle Fort through its colonial history, architecture, local streets and coastal atmosphere, with time to explore at an unhurried pace.
Enjoy a flexible day beside the Indian Ocean. Choose beach time, a local food experience, a coastal village visit or simply time to relax.
Transfer to Colombo, the airport or your next destination. Timing and stops will be arranged around your onward travel plans.
